Past graduate students have analyzed data and prepared manuscripts, had a faculty member mentor their doctoral thesis, developed business strategies for projects, worked at international sites, and conducted background research. Graduate interns can function in research, administrative or special project roles. Graduate internship opportunities become available intermittently. Please send the information listed above to with the subject line “Undergraduate Internship Application.” Candidates will be accepted on a rolling and as-needed basis. It is helpful if s/he has working knowledge of research using biomedical databases such as MEDLINE, Pubmed, Cochrane Databases, and PsychoInfo. S/he must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and reference management software, such as Endnote. Applicants should have a strong interest in global health, psychiatry/psychology, or cross-cultural mental health. Candidates must provide a resume, cover letter, writing sample, and two references. Students can apply for a full-time internship to work on administrative and academic-oriented projects. We occasionally have opportunities for undergraduate students to intern with the Division.
